Hi Soren, congratulations and my best wishes for the new Forum. Wammes2005 left the planet and is now on his way to Jupiter. He asked me to take his place and so I will do.

Wow, congrats Soren. This only makes sense, because obviously the old site had become more than just a G-70 site. I look forward to being part of what I'm sure will become the Alpha and Omega of Roland Arranger sites on the net. -Jon

Hi everybody, and a special hi to you søren.
I must say this is exiting news, though the old site was very good also. Being a musician who for more than 30 years have plaed the drums, I´m afraid i can´t be at any help to you other guys, but i have sure had a lot of fun playing the G70, and using the old site, whenever i was in trouble.
Good luck to you all in the future.
Rudi.

Hi Søren,
I'm proud to be a newbie on this new web-forum.
I hope it will be better than the old one and I wish you all the best for the future.

Hello Soren, Thanks for all your efforts for doing this. I visited the old website almost every day. I was not a big poster but learned a lot of all the members!! I'm an amateur. I think there are a lot of professionals on this board. Some discussions I cannot follow. But no problem, with all I learned I play the stars from heaven! Karel Holland

I hope that more user club members will send their regards in this thread, but I just want to say thanks for all the kind and encouraging words from all of you who has posted in this thread so far - not at least the one's that are normally "invisible". Nice to see that you appreciate the efforts from the more active members like e.g. Giovanni (Gvenuti) and Bert (Wammes). I promise you that I will do my best to make this website kick so much ass!!!

May this excellent new site grow from strength to strength. Since aquiring my G70 some 6 months ago I have found the old site absolutely invaluable with the ready help and written accounts on how to get the best from the G70.
Best wishes to you all. I look forward to keeping in regular touch with you at this new website.

Hi Sören and all G70-Users , First of all congratulations to the new webside. After some troubles with my wireless keyboard (the registration procedure seems to be a little bit tricky ; I'm not used that the user name is case sensitive) I'm proudly posting my first message in the new forum. Hopefully I will try to participate more active in future - I'm one of the nearly "read only users" from the old webside. I'm very thankful to all members putting a lot of "good stuff" on this webside. Most of the last months I only spent very little time in my G70 - so I can't give any worthful tips or contributes. A second reason is my bad english knowlegde - it takes me a lot of time to get this words to a understandable sentence (and maybe I was a little bit disappointed from the missing feedbacks of my posts in the old forum). Best wishes for the future, Entertainer

I am very glad that so many "readonly" users from the old forum say hi in this thread. I REALLY hope that you will be active here in the new forum together with the other user club members, who just can't hold themselves back from posting Don't be "afraid" that we do not understand you, even though you are not writing English fluently. Just look at the country statistics on the front page. Most of the user are non-English users, so we all swim in the swimmingpool - just jump in - the water is nice (quote: Diki Cox )

It's kind of fun to see a lot of our old members posting under new names, sometimes even their 'real' one..! Every day, the forum gets better.. By the time I notice a 'bug', it's gone by the next day! Kudos, Søren! I learned to 'collapse' the login header, so now it's a little quicker to get to the content without so many big banners at the top (I'm a big fan of getting to the content as fast as possible!). BTW, who is this Diki Cox? Are the girls talking behind my back?

Yes, that's right, Diki Ross (sorry ). It's nice to see a lot of old members sending thier greetings in this thread! Glad to see that you appreciate the work I am doing in building this new forum and website. It is making me happy to see that my efforts are being appreciated. I have now worked on created this website day and night (around the clock!!!) Fine that you have learned to collapse the header There are several customizable settings in the new forum! As stated in other threads I urge everyone to do a thorough walkthrough of any feature in the forum! Look at all those new links, icons and stuff. There are many settings available!

HI PEople, I am here too. I have an E 80 coming about Thursday May17th. so as it is my first Roland other then the JV 1080 module, I have a learning curve to develope. I have been on the Synthzone for many years both as a moderator starting the technics forum and now working on getting a Roland Arranger Forum active there. I have had a lot of keyboards since the early 70's and still have quite a few in my studio. I have recently sold 3 of the Technics as they were now orphans. I look forward to spending good quality time here with the members of this fine forum and learning how to operate the new E 80. special thanks to Diki who invited me over and made us all aware of this specialized forum for our new roland Keyboards. Best to you in your endeavors and good playing to all. Bebop California USA

Hi Bebop, a warm welcome to you here at the roland-arranger.com forum. And congratulations on buying the Roland E-80 - it is a great instrument. Will you be playing it at home or are you going to use it for gigging? Being part of the roland-arranger.com community is like getting a new family. We are here to help you and support you! As you see in my personal text my motto is "Make a living by what you get but make a life by what you give", so the more you participate the more you will get in return. Please tell us all about the E-80, when you recieve it! And BTW - good luck with you attempt to establish an active Roland board at SZ. It will probably take quite an effort (believe me, I know what I am talking about!!!) - I hope you will succeed! /Søren
